Recruiting: Committed to USC
Sammamish (Wash.) Skyline quarterback and USC commit Max Browne was named the Gatorade National Player of the Year earlier this month. He received the award during a ceremony held at his high school. Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson was on hand to deliver the award. Wilson had worked with Browne earlier this summer during Nike’s “The Opening”.
After the ceremony, Scout.com caught up with Spartan head coach Mat Taylor. The coach talked about what can be expected of Browne as he enrolls at USC in early January and is on campus for spring ball.
