Trip Report - Sean Constantine

Bellevue (Wa.) LB Sean Constantine visited Washington last weekend, but he was without a phone for a while, so it wasn't until seven days later that we were able to speak to him. To say he enjoyed his time on campus would be an understatement and he said there were many highlights to his trip...

"It was awesome," Constantine told Dawgman.com. "It was just great all the way around.

"My host was Evan Hudson, the tight end from Bothell, and he showed me around and we had a great time hanging out and talking and just getting to know each other."

Hudson also introduced him to a lot of the other players.

"I also got to hang out with Evan and a bunch of the other guys like Dexter (Charles), Travis Feeney, Austin Seferian-Jenkins and a couple of other guys," Constantine said. "They were all great guys and I really had a lot of fun just experiencing a little bit of what it's like to be a player there."

Constantine said he also got a lot of time with his soon-to-be position coach, Peter Sirmon.

"You can tell he's a great coach and he knows what he's doing because he did it himself," Constantine said. "We watched film together and talked about how they are going to use me and all of that stuff. It was really great."

On top of all that, Constantine said he had plenty of food to keep him happy.

"I don't know how many people actually know this about me, but I live my life around food," Constantine said with a bit of a chuckle. "I mean, I love to eat and boy did we have a lot of food. They definitely treat you right on your visits that's for sure."

Constantine said he finished the season weighing about 215 pounds, but said when he stepped on the scale recently he was a lean 234.

"It isn't fat I can tell you that," Constantine said. "I've been working really hard in the weight room and eating right and stuff like that, so it's good weight, but I was shocked when it said '234'."

Constantine, as well as the rest of the 2013 recruiting class, will sign his letter-of-intent on February 6th and he will enroll at Washington in time for the start of the LEAP program in early July.
