"I had a really good visit. I got to see a whole new side of Washington this trip," said Jack. "I'd been there before a bunch of times and to a lot of practices. But I never really had a chance to get in tuned with the players and hang out with them."
Jack, one of the elite prospects in the West in this class, was hosted by a couple of former Husky five-star signees.
"Kasen Williams and Shaq Thompson were my hosts," said Jack. "But I got to spend a lot of time with a lot of the other players. I talked with a lot of the guys who stayed close to home to play for them."
Jack also spent ample time with the Husky coaches, talking with nearly everyone at some point.
"I was mostly with Coach (Peter) Sirmon and Coach (Justin) Wilcox and then some time with the strength coaches," said Jack. "It was kind of a mixture of coaches. When I wasn't with the coaches, I was with all the players. (On Sunday), my mom and I sat down with Coach Sark (Steve Sarkisian) and he did an overview of the visit and what his plan for me was as far as Washington."
But the time with the players was what stood out to Jack.
"The highlight was probably just hanging out with the players and kicking it with the players, and talking to them and seeing how down to earth they are," said Jack.
With talk about Jack cancelling his official visit to Florida State this weekend to take an unofficial visit back to Washington, Jack said his plan is to hit the road once again.
"I'm still going to Florida State on Friday," said Jack. "I definitely want to take that visit. Florida State is coming in this week for an in-home too."
In fact, Jack said all of the schools he's considering will be in this week.
"Florida State is coming in, Washington is coming in, Arizona State is coming in, Utah is coming in and UCLA is coming in," said Jack. "My mom is taking work off so she can figure all out when they're coming and get the house ready. She wants to be there for all of them and wants to get her schedule ready. She loves the recruiting process more than I do. She opens up all the letters and you'd think she's the one who's getting recruited. She loves it and loves opening our house to the coaches. Especially since she doesn't have to play for college."
So where does Jack stand on his commitment to UCLA?
"I'm going to UCLA," said Jack, who talked to UCLA coach Jim Mora on Sunday night. "It's solid, it's not soft. I'm going there. I'm going to be a Bruin."
Jack is ready for Signing Day, and moving on to the next chapter.
"More and more, I'm really ready to sign and get it over with," said Jack. "It's fun, don't get me wrong, I've enjoyed it. But I am ready for going back to the Myles Jack before."
