Defending Class 3A champ O’Dea as well as two-time defending Class 1A state champion Brewster lead the loaded field locally while Portland’s Jefferson Democrats and always-strong Mater Dei from Southern California head the out-of-area participants.

And Bartlett, Alaska’s Golden Bears bring one of the nation’s top players in Kansas-bound super guard Mario Chalmers. Chalmers is the number-1 rated point guard on the West Coast and signed with the JayHawks during the early signing period.
