A whopping 36 members of the Class of 2005 have been nominated to participate in the 28th annual McDonald’s All-American basketball game on March 30, 2005 at the University of Notre Dame. | ||||

Six players from the state of Washington have made the final cut and have played in the McDonald’s game; Quin Snyder in 1985, Omm’A Givens in 1994, Luke Ridnour in 2000, Aaron Brooks in 2003 and Marvin Williams in 2004. After a process that will cut the list several times, Selection Committee Chairman Morgan Wootten will review and approve the twenty names chosen by the Selection Committee and notify each player that he has been named to the McDonald's All American High School Basketball Team and selected to play in the McDonald's All American Game.
