After four days, 26 games and many outstanding performances, the WIAA/Dairy Farmers of Washington Class 4A Boy’s Basketball Championships brought the 2005 season to a close. Here’s the best of the best, our All-Tournament team. | ||||

Class 4A State All-tournament team: MVP: Jon Brockman, 6-8 senior, Snohomish. McDonald’s All-American and future UW Husky averaged 25 points and 16.8 rebounds in carrying the Panthers to 7th place. First Team Isaiah Thomas, 5-8 sophomore, Curtis. Hot shooting guard led tournament in scoring at 26.3ppg. He’ll be back! Marcus Williams, 6-7 senior, Roosevelt. Future Arizona Wildcat had 22.7 points and 9 rebounds per contest. Jordan Sutton, 6-0 senior, Bethel. Tough point guard hit 46.7% from outside the arc while averaging 15ppg for state champs. Aaron Boyce, 6-4 senior, Kentwood. Future Eastern Washington footballer had 13.3 points per game to go with 6.7 boards for tourney runner-up. Jack Loofburrow, 6-7 junior, Eisenhower. Averaged 16.2ppg with 7 boards per contest in leading Ike to 4th place. Second Team Brandon Moore, 6-8 senior, Bethel. Future EWU Eagle averaged 12.7 points with 8.3 rebounds per contest. Derrick Webb, 6-2 senior, South Kitsap. Wolve’s guard scored at a 16.5ppg pace. Jacob Gonzales, 6-1 senior, North Kitsap. Opened tourney with a 40-point effort. Averaged 23.7ppg in his three games. Blake Solomon, 6-2 senior, Kentwood. Scored 13.3ppg while hitting 83.3% from the foul line in his third appearance at state. Skyler Riley, 5-8 senior, Inglemoor. Averaged 17.5ppg and 2.2 steals in leading Vikings to first-ever state trophy. |
