Spencer Hawes heads loaded squad
|
The 2005 version of the Friends of Hoop team is set and ready to hit the road for tournaments around the country. Coach Jim Marsh once again has a loaded squad, he had a trio of McDonald’s All-Americans on the 2004 version, featuring 6-11 Spencer Hawes. | |||

On the 2005 FOH roster Marsh tells us will be inside guys: Spencer Hawes (6-11 JR Seattle Prep) Renado Parker (6-4 FR, Kentridge) Emeka Iweka (6-6 SO Rainier Beach) Michael Duty (6-7 JR O’Dea) On the wing Marsh has: Austin Kilpatrick (6-5 JR Puyallup) DeAngelo Jones (6-3 SO Kennedy) Ryan Anderson (6-3 JR Rainier Beach) Ernest “Pooh” Williams (6-4 JR Federal Way) And in the back court will be: Jamelle McMillan (6-2 SO O’Dea), Jared Stohl (5-11 SO Marysville-Pilchuck) Isaiah Thomas (5-8 SO Curtis) Marsh says of the 2005 squad, “we will be very deep and we are going to press and fly.” Not that 2004’s squad was exactly a lumbering bunch of grinders but this bunch has some serious wheels and some guys who can fill it up. Marsh’s squad should once again be fun to watch. They will compete in the Washington Premier Spring League for those in the Puget Sound area who would like to get a look at some of the best talent the state has to offer. Class listed is of as 2005. |
