Final Big Time records and scores

Whatcom Hoops ran off four consecutive wins to win their bracket in the “B” Division at the Reebok Big Time before falling in the division semifinals to complete the deepest run into the bracket playoffs of the 14 Washington teams participating in the massive hoops event in Las Vegas.

Former Blaine Coach Rob Ridnour once commented to me that “well I guess we got our monies worth” after his Brewster Packers select squad had won the “C” Division title at the Big Time and played nine games in five days in the desert. Each team is guaranteed four games in this event.

So according to a guy who is a pretty fair coach, won two state championships and is now a professional basketball coach, the Whatcom County guys “got their monies worth.” Nice job of representing to the fellas from “The WC.”
