His senior year, Mastin was named all-classifications All-State by the Seattle Times and was also a first team Associated Press selection. A first team All-Greater Spokane League selection for the second straight year, Mastin was also named the co-defensive player of the year in the GSL, sharing the honor with future Cougar Travis Long.
First-team All-GSL on LC's 2007 state 4A championship team. Voted LC's defensive lineman of the year -- even though one of his batterymates, senior Steve Johnson, was a first-team All-State selection. Ranked No. 94 on Scout.com's list of the Top 150 high school prospects in the West for 2009. |
